In Petra where were standing next to what refereed
to as a desert police man.
He stands guard at the treasure located within the confines of Petra.
It's about a mile and half walk into Petra from the entrance.

entrances on the East side of the old city.
Also know as St Stephens gate and the Sheep gate.
